They say the fruit does not fall far from the tree, and this seems to be true for the Michaud family. Michael Vincent, son of Michael Michaud has been a glass artist for a number of years. He has studied extensively with some of America's finest glass artists at various institutions including the prestigious Corning and Urban glass programs. He has collaborated with his father, Michael Michaud, on jewelry collections for the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the National Gallery in Washington D.C. and the Victoria and Albert Museum in London. Michael Vincent has now combined his knowledge of glass work and jewelry making with his keen sense of color to design his first wearable art collection. His pieces are cast in bronze with layers of gold and silver and accented with hand cast glass elements.
