The Leaf Box shown here has a Curly Maple top and a Cocobolo Base. Shown on the right is an image showing a Leaf Box with the lid removed.. Eugene Watson has laminated the delicate lids with a design made of contrasting hard wood veneers. The lids are sculpted by hand to make them appear thinner than they really are. Inspired by a cotton wood leaf this reincarnation in wood is a delicate masterpiece.
