Original designs by Rachel Badeau are carved in clay and wax and then cast in resin and hand finished showing exacting detail and definition that has a close resemblance to scrimshaw carving. Rachel’s love of animals and nature is reflected in her work. The detail in Rachel's work captures the deep feelings she has for animals and nature, and the whimsy in her pieces reflects her humor and wit.
