Eugene Watson - Watson Woodworks - Leaf Box

The Leaf Box was inspired by the leaf of the “narrow-leaf” cottonwood trees found near the rivers and streams where Eugene Watson now lives in the rocky mountains. The delicate lid lifts up and is sculpted by hand to make it appear thinner than it really is. For a finishing touch the box is lined with suede leather. Dimensions are 11"long x 2 3/4" wide x 1 1/4" high. The box shown here has a Bubinga top and a Cherry base. Shown on the right is the Leaf Box with top removed.
