Pottery By Elaine was established in 1991 as a small hobby business.

Elaine now works at her home/studio in the country at Lafayette, Oregon.

"The simple things in life have always brought me the most pleasure. My husband and I live in the country in a house with flowers everywhere, a wonderfully scenic view, a large garden, and room for my two dogs. My pottery is a direct reflection of the things I believe in; the earth, the environment, plants and animals. Through color, shape, and transparency, I endeavor to represent in my flowers their fragility, happiness, and ability to bend with the wind in addition to their beauty and the pleasure they give to us. It gives me great pleasure to be able to share these things with you and I hope the pieces bring you joy as you use them."
